Home is Where the Poems Are: Writing on the theme of ‘home’
This workshop focuses on the theme of ‘home’ in the broadest sense of the word. Participants write about the people and places where they have felt at home, the rooms and landscapes of our memories and the sometimes elusive longing for a place called home.
Author and educator Tzivia Gover believes that poetry and creative writing are fun, easy and deeply satisfying – and that everyone can access the magic and joy of writing for self-expression.
Through her writing workshops, Tzivia brings inspiring and energizing programs she developed while teaching poetry to at-risk youth and adults new readers and writers. Her workshops are available for all groups, from those who think they can’t write to experienced wordsmiths and everyone in between.
